The company facility is located three miles northeast of downtown San Jose, California USA.  San Jose is regarded as a premier region for technology development and is sometimes referred to as the South Bay or Silicon Valley. San Jose is located about fifty miles south of San Francisco and fifty miles east of the great Pacific sea.

In 1984, K&R Equipment, Inc. developed an automatic machine for loading stock tab forms. It was called the Drop Packer and is regarded as one of K&R's first successful major products. This product is utilized by companies as a machine to automate bulk packaging.

Today, K&R Equipment, Inc. produces large-scale automatic machinery for companies that make corrugated shipping cases and a variety of companies that have bulk packaging requirements.
